Parish Church of
 St. Mary and St. Gregory

Services

Regular services held at: 11.15am every Sunday.
Holy Communion on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and Mattins on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays.

Vicar: Rev. Jeremy Hummerstone

I was delighted to be asked to contribute an introduction to the Frithelstock Parish Website. Hitherto Frithelstock has had only a small share in another website, just about the church. This encouraging new venture will I am sure give a real boost to parish life generally, advertising various interest groups to one another and providing a link for Frithelstock exiles across the world, and for anybody else who loves our village, to find out what is going on here.
I was once showing somebody round the parish, and he said, quoting Psalm 16, "Your lot has certainly fallen in a fair ground"; and all of us lucky enough to live or work here would entirely agree with him. The combination of the green and spacious Devon landscape with a lively mixture of long-settled families and recent arrivals from all walks of  life creates an environment that is both peaceful and stimulating.
As pages are added here you will learn in them something of our history and our hopes for the future. Jeremy Hummerstone (Vicar). September 2007
